Our Muay Thai Level I and II classes Combine Fitness, Self-defense, And More
You can join us even if you have little to no background in Muay Thai. Spyda Muay Thai class introduces you to the backbone of the sport. The posture, guard, and standard 8-member attacks (basic punches, elbows, knees, and kicks) and some basic defensive techniques. There is also a strong focus on conditioning, which is important to survive the 53-minute rounds that make up a Muay Thai bout's anatomy. Our slogan is, "You don't have to train like a fighter." This class is your promising journey. If you plan to lose weight, be in the best shape of your life, be able to learn self-defense techniques to protect yourself and your loved ones, or keep the title belt in your hands. This class is where you learn to crawl until you can walk the right path. Level I education lasts about 8 weeks before being eligible for Level II.
- As a student of Spyda Muay Thai Level I and II, you will be able to attend all mixed classes weekly. We do this to give you a taste of what to expect once you graduate from this class.
- Level I and II Spyda Muay Thai students are not allowed to attend sparring class on Tuesdays. Rate II for clinching on Thursdays.
